We will once again be volunteering our efforts to assist the Credit Union with two events in April. The Annual Easter Egg Hunt is Friday, April 10th from 4 - 7 pm at Dan Daniel Park in Danville VA (Shelter 17). We need volunteers to be there by 1:30 to help hide eggs, and we will also be cooking hotdogs as soon as the kids start "hunting"...please let someone on the Retiree Board know if you will be willing to help with this event.
URW is holding "Credit Union Youth Day" to coincide with National Credit Union Youth Week this year. Youth Day festivities will be help from 3 - 5 pm on April 23, 2009 (Thursday) at the URW Branch on Arnett Blvd. We will be assisting in the "Hot Dog Trailer" that will be supplied by Coca Cola. We need some volunteers to cook, serve, and clean up. If you can help, see a member of the Retiree Board.
